Trolltunga, one of Norway's most iconic rock formations, wanted to strengthen its brand identity to attract more visitors and convey a holistic experience of the destination. The aim was to develop a brand strategy and visual identity that reflects Trolltunga's unique nature, while providing practical information and inspiring safe driving. This should help position Trolltunga as a national tourist trail and a destination for both Norwegian and international hikers.
To strengthen the Trolltunga brand, we began by developing a holistic brand strategy that highlights Trolltunga's iconic status and unique experience. We created a visual identity that combines the dramatic expression of nature with modern design principles to provide an authentic and inspiring feel. The logo and graphic elements were designed to mirror the shape of the mountain and the natural surroundings, while the color palette reflects the changing landscapes and weather conditions.
The website was updated with a new design to provide users with an intuitive and engaging experience. We emphasised practical information on safety, trip planning and sustainable policies to inspire safe and responsible driving. Through a combination of inspiring images, informative text and a clear navigation structure, we ensured that Trolltunga appears both accessible and magnificent.
